Elliot Erwitt Snaps

Elliott Erwitt has been taking photographs since the late 1940s. A member of the prestigious Magnum photo agency since 1954, he has photographed around the world, and his work has been the subject of numerous books and exhibitions. "Elliott Erwitt Snaps," featuring over 500 photographs (many previously unpublished), is a comprehensive overview of his work. From iconic images like Khrushchev and Nixon arguing in Moscow in 1959, and Marilyn Monroe on the set of "The Misfits," to more personal shots of places, objects, people, and animals, Erwitt's unmistakable and often witty style delivers snapshots of the famous, the ordinary, the strange, and the everyday, through the lens of one of the greatest photographers of our time, spanning over half a century.
